Dr. Porges vorbe\u0219te de <strong>neurocep\u021bie<\/strong>, termen care desemneaz\u0103 abilitatea incon\u0219tient\u0103 a creierului de a detecta semnale de siguran\u021b\u0103, pericol sau chiar amenin\u021bare cu moartea. \u00cen func\u021bie de aceste semnale, organismul activeaz\u0103 r\u0103spunsuri adaptative prin intermediul a trei circuite:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Nervul vag dorsal<\/strong>\u2013 cel mai vechi filogenetic, responsabil pentru st\u0103rile de imobilizare, cum ar fi reac\u021bia de \u201e\u00eenghe\u021b\u201d (freeze). Acest circuit este esen\u021bial \u00een conservarea energiei \u00een fa\u021ba unor amenin\u021b\u0103ri extreme sau situa\u021bii de \u0219oc.<\/li><li><strong>Sistemul nervos simpatic (SNS)<\/strong> \u2013 asociat cu r\u0103spunsurile de mobilizare, cum ar fi lupta sau fuga (fight \/ flight).
